Course modality & accommodations policies

As we continue to deal with disruptions to our daily lives due to COVID, we want to remind faculty of the College’s recommendations for being flexible in classroom instruction. These recommendations provide guidance on flexible course policies in the event you or your students are ill, must quarantine or are experiencing other issues such as lack of child care. Please let your department chair or undergraduate coordinator know if you are experiencing ongoing difficulties and could benefit from additional support.

Supporting students with COVID-19

  • ADUE recommendations for establishing flexible course policies for managing students missing class due to illness.
  • Refer students to the C.A.R.E. Center for practical support and guidance on navigating University policies and resources, or to discuss any concerns.
