Through the Fire and Flames

A photo of Jeremy Young, ME BSE Student, using a simulation of an engine.

Jeremy Young, MSE BSE Student, rides through a cylinder as it combusts around him, all without having to face the fire and flames around him. This is all possible because of the Michigan Immersive Design Experience Nexus (MIDEN), a virtual reality environment on North Campus that allows Young and others to explore their studies in 3D.
