Gesine Veits, Chemistry Post Doctoral Researcher and member of Arthur F Thurnau Professor and Professor of Macromolecular Science and Engineering Ann McNeil's laboratory, constructs a lead paint test in the Chemistry Building on the Central Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI.

The test is based on the state change from liquid to gel, denoting the presence of lead in paint.
