Members of the Michigan Bioastronautics and Life Support Systems (BLiSS) team construct a Mars Habitat in the basement of the Space Research Building.

The project is part of NASA's eXploration System and Habitation (X-Hab) Academic Innovation Challenge that seeks to bridge strategic knowledge gaps and increase knowledge in capabilities and technology risk reduction related to NASA's visions and missions with partnerships with various universities.
