The Biointerfaces Institute brings together researchers from dentistry, pharmacy, engineering and medical schools, to try to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare. Researchers work literally side by side to solve some of the biggest challenges in health care today.  Professor Joerg Lahann from the Department of Chemical Engineering is the director of the institute.
