Lunsford bequests NAME scholarship

Everett Lunsford (BSE NAME '71) has documented his intention to endow the Everett P. Lunsford Scholarship Fund via bequest. Once established, this fund will provide scholarship support to undergraduates in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.| Short Read

Mr. Lunsford earned a master’s degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His marine industry career included shipyards (Avondale & Halter/Trinity), the National Transportation Safety Board, the National Academy of Sciences, and Coopers & Lybrand. Since retiring from IBM as a senior consultant and business analyst in 2012, he has provided financial analysis services on a contract basis in a range of industries, with a focus on resolving manufacturing finance issues.
