Ulsoy endows ME faculty award fund

The Mechanical Engineering department will use this endowed gift to provide the E. & M. Ulsoy Citation Leader Award annually to the ME faculty member who has the largest number of citations to his/her research work in the Scopus Database that year.| Short Read

A. Galip Ulsoy, C.D. Mote, Jr. Distinguished University Professor Emeritus and William Clay Ford Professor of Manufacturing Emeritus, and Susan Glowski have established the E. & M. Ulsoy Citation Leader Award Fund.

The Mechanical Engineering department will use this endowed gift to provide the E. & M. Ulsoy Citation Leader Award annually to the ME faculty member who has the largest number of citations to his/her research work in the Scopus Database that year. Each recipient may receive the award only once. The award will consist of both a monetary prize and a recognition plaque. The plaque will be presented at the annual ME awards ceremony.

Professor Ulsoy is a recipient of the Stephen S. Attwood Award, the highest faculty award in the College, and is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
