Professor Love named adjunct professor at Addis Ababa University

Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia has selected Professor Nancy Love to serve as an adjunct professor in the Institute of Biotechnology.| Short Read

The Institute of Biotechnology (IoB) was established in June 2012 with a mandate to carry out teaching and research activities. The Institute envisions to be a center for generating high caliber researchers, educators and professionals that can lend expertise as well as conduct research that addresses the needs of the agricultural, industrial, health and environmental sectors in Ethiopia.

Love has collaborated with researchers in Addis Ababa for several years. In January 2015 she traveled with others from U-M to Addis Ababa to address the country’s need for graduate training and research collaborations.

She is also on a team that is developing the Ethiopia-Michigan Platform for Advancing Collaborative Engagement (EM-PACE).
