Justin E. Mirro (BSE ME ’91, BGS ’91) of Great Neck, New York, has made a $100,000 gift to endow the Mirro Family Endowed Scholarship Fund. The gift will provide scholarship support to undergraduate students enrolled full-time in the College of Engineering. Mirro desires the College match the scholarship to women students, included in financial packages those students are otherwise awarded. Additionally, his preference is to support students with financial need.
Mirro is proud of his connection to the University of Michigan College of Engineering; he met his wife, Elizabeth (AB ’91), on North Campus and his engineering degree was the foundation of a successful career as an automotive investment banker. The Mirro family honors the importance of this bond by establishing a scholarship to support future engineers and achievers.
