Alumna Jennifer Macks named Vice President of Business Development at Shockey

CEE Alumna Jennifer Macks (BSCE ’94) has joined Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. as Vice President of Business Development. | Short Read

Macks will assume top management for Shockey’s sales and marketing team. She brings to this position 20 years of commercial construction expertise.

Shockey President Jeff Boehm says, “Jennifer is recognized in the Greater Washington DC area as a leader in construction business services. Her reputation for outstanding client service, leadership, innovation, and integrity speaks volumes.”

Macks brings a wealth of experience both in executive level leadership and construction of complex projects. Prior to joining Shockey, she served as Vice President of Skanska USA, one of the nation’s largest construction companies.

She has experience in leveraging the use of BIM and lean for project delivery and will be working to expand Shockey’s expertise in these areas. As a general contractor, design-builder, and construction manager, Winchester-based Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. is one of Virginia’s oldest and largest construction companies.

Macks is a former president of the CEEFA Board.
