Postdoctoral Fellow Jongho Kim receives ProQuest Award

Postdoctoral Fellow Jongho Kim has been selected to receive a ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award for 2013.| Short Read

This award recognizes the most exceptional scholarly work produced by doctoral students at the University of Michigan who completed their dissertations in 2013. The Michigan Society of Fellows serves as the primary selection committee and ProQuest Information Services sponsors the award program.

Kim earned his PhD from CEE in the winter semester of 2013. Professors Valeriy Ivanov and Nikolaos Katopodes were his advisors.

His research focuses on hydrology, flow hydraulics, erosion and sediment transport and assessment of climate change impacts.
