Award-winning EECS Graduate Student Instructors & Instructional Aides honored at luncheon

On May 1, 2012, the EECS Department held its annual Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) / Instructional Aide (IA) Awards Luncheon to honor top student instructors and aides for their remarkable service. ECE Associate Chair David Neuhoff and CSE Associate Chair Karem Sakallah hosted the event and introduced the awardees.

During the event, Profs. Neuhoff and Sakallah shared their thoughts and read excerpts from student evaluations of the honorees. The 2012 awardees, and the courses and faculty they worked with were:

  • Travis Martin: GSI Award for F11 EECS 203 with Prof. Pettie and Prof. Lee and W12 EECS 376 with Prof. Strauss
  • Sudarshan Sivaramakrishnan: GSI Award for F11 EECS 314 with Prof. Ganago and W12 EECS 314 with Prof. Ganago
  • Praveen Yenduri: GSI Award for F11 EECS 216 with Prof. Yagle and Prof. Lafortune and W11 EECS 216 with Prof. Winick
