Pantanal Partnership selected as Davis Foundation Recipient

Congratulations to the Pantanal Partnership, a student organization closely connected to the College of Engineering, which has been selected as the 2012 University of Michigan Davis Foundation Project for Peace recipient.| Short Read

The lead author on the grant proposal is Greg Ewing, CEE ’13 who serves as the co-director along with Julie Bateman, CEE ’12. The Pantanal Partnership will receive $10,000 from the Davis Foundation to support their summer work. Additional information about the grant and the Pantanal Partnership is included in the attached press release. Dave Waterhouse, Director of Student Initiatives at the Ginsberg Center, and Jennifer Wegner will work with the students in preparation for their travel and in stewardship of the grant. Click for more information on the Pantanal Partnership.
