Professor Anna Michalak has been selected by the Association of Environmental Engineering and Science Professors to receive the 2008 AEESP Outstanding Educator Award for Outstanding Teaching in Environmental Engineering and Science. This is a nationally recognized award within the environmental engineering and science profession and is given annually to honor a faculty member (typically early-career faculty) who has made substantive contributions directly through class-oriented teaching, as enhanced through the development of new pedagogical techniques.
